Capacity alone does not make data useful. Training and analytics also depend on bandwidth, computation, energy, governance, metadata, quality, retention, and legal permission. Binary measurements use different prefixes, so a yottabyte should not be confused with a yobibyte. Large-scale estimates should state which convention and assumptions they use.
