Armadin has raised $255.5 million in Series B funding to expand its autonomous AI security platform. The company announced the round on October 1, with Andreessen Horowitz and Accel leading the investment.
The financing values Armadin above $2.5 billion and brings total funding to $445 million. Bain Capital Ventures and Redpoint joined the round, alongside returning investors including Google Ventures, In-Q-Tel and Kleiner Perkins.
Led by Kevin Mandia, Armadin uses coordinated AI agents to test how attackers could penetrate customer systems. Its approach connects weaknesses into realistic attack paths, helping security teams identify combinations that an isolated vulnerability score could miss.
Armadin says it already runs these campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and government customers. The proceeds will support platform expansion, research, training and commercial operations as the company scales its security-testing business.
The investment comes as agent security becomes a broader infrastructure concern. Nvidia recently introduced agent controls designed to restrict software agents and monitor their activity. The two approaches address related needs: finding exploitable weaknesses and limiting what autonomous software can access or do.
