The domain AI.si is listed for sale at an asking price of $699,995 through DomainIntake, as the term superintelligence gains attention in technology branding. The broker describes the two-letter address as available for private acquisition, subject to seller approval and final terms.
The address pairs the familiar AI initials with Slovenia’s .si country-code extension. Interest in the suffix has grown: Register.si reports 46,066 new .si registrations in September, alongside its announcement that discussion of AI’s new name has stimulated demand.
On October 4, Elon Musk wrote on X: “No more AI. SI. It’s better.” As AIstify reported, he also agreed to a proposed SpaceXSI name, providing no implementation date for the change.
President Donald Trump’s September 29 executive order directs federal executive agencies to use “Super Intelligence” and “SI” in official communications and other non-statutory documents. It initially keeps the existing statutory definition of artificial intelligence.
DomainIntake says the sale would use licensed third-party escrow and include a registrar-to-registrar transfer. Lease-to-own arrangements are also offered, with terms subject to approval. The broker says payment is requested only after terms are agreed and escrow is opened.
