GPT-4.5 Passed the Turing Test More Often Than Humans
Researchers at UC San Diego found that GPT-4.5 was identified as human more often than actual people during a modern version of the Turing test. The study suggests advanced AI models can convincingly imitate human conversational behavior when given carefully designed prompts.
