The company is expanding its Flight Deals tool globally, allowing users in over 200 countries to find affordable destinations using AI. Additionally, Google’s Canvas tool in AI Mode can now organize entire travel plans. Users can create a trip itinerary in the Canvas side panel, pulling information from Google Search, Maps, hotels, reviews, and other online sources. The system allows for iterative planning, offering trade-offs such as proximity to restaurants or attractions while comparing hotels and activities. This feature is available on desktop in the U.S. for users enrolled in AI Mode Labs.
Google is also broadening agentic booking capabilities to all U.S. users. AI Mode can now make restaurant, event, and wellness reservations based on preferences such as date, location, and cuisine.
