Neura Robotics has partnered with Qualcomm to develop next-generation robots powered by advanced edge AI processors. The collaboration aims to build the core computing architecture for humanoid and industrial robots capable of operating in real-world environments.

Neura plans to integrate Qualcomm’s Dragonwing Robotics IQ10 processors into its robotic platforms. The chips, introduced earlier this year, are designed for autonomous mobile robots and humanoid systems that require real-time AI processing and connectivity. Neura will also use its Neuraverse simulation platform to train and test robots built on Qualcomm’s hardware.

CEO David Reger said the collaboration aims to accelerate development of “cognitive robots” capable of working safely alongside humans across industries and domestic environments.

The partnership reflects a broader trend in the emerging physical AI sector, where robotics startups collaborate with large semiconductor and AI infrastructure providers. Similar alliances are forming across the industry, including collaborations between robotics companies and AI developers to integrate advanced chips and foundation models into real-world robotic systems.
