Lovable, the European AI app-building startup, has surpassed $500 million in annualized revenue run rate, up from $400 million reported in February 2026. The company, founded in late 2023, has not yet reached its three-year anniversary.

The platform reports that users have built more than 50 million projects to date, with usage accelerating to approximately one million new projects per week. According to an internal survey of its user base, the majority of Lovable’s users are non-technical, yet a growing portion are building software intended for commercial use or internal business operations.

Typical users include founders, designers, and salespeople building websites, e-commerce storefronts, and internal tools such as customer relationship management systems, inventory platforms, and HR applications. The data points to growing adoption of Lovable as a substitute for purchasing off-the-shelf SaaS products, particularly for business-specific tooling.

The figures come as AI-assisted development platforms, often referred to as vibe coding tools, gain broader traction among businesses looking to build custom software without traditional engineering resources. In August 2024, Lovable stated a target of reaching $1 billion in annualized revenue within 12 months. The company has not confirmed that milestone, but its growth trajectory reflects sustained demand for AI-driven development platforms.

Lovable previously reported operating with 146 employees as of March 2026. The company has not yet disclosed metrics around project abandonment or long-term software maintenance outcomes, data points that are likely to draw greater scrutiny as the platform and the broader vibe coding category continue to scale.
