SpaceXAI has launched Grok Team Bots, shared AI assistants that teams can use in Slack or the Grok Bot app. The company announced the public beta on September 28 for Teams and Enterprise plans, allowing colleagues to work with the same assistant around a shared role or project.
Each Team Bot combines shared files, instructions and skills with application plugins, API credentials and memory. Teams can connect tools such as Salesforce, Notion and GitHub, configuring access individually or across the group. Elon Musk highlighted the release on X, saying the bot now works as a team.

SpaceXAI says individual conversations remain private, with separate context and memories for each user alongside shared team skills. In Slack, each bot has its own handle and can join channels where colleagues contribute information, ask questions and see its responses.
The company says it already uses Team Bots to prepare sales briefings, coordinate engineering projects, review marketing materials and answer data questions. Its engineering example connects services including Linear, Datadog and Cursor to triage bugs, create tickets and launch coding agents for defined fixes.
The rollout follows SpaceXAI’s Grok 4.7 release, which expanded its focus on coding and knowledge work. Team Bots adds a shared workflow layer around those workplace uses. Prebuilt bots are available for sales, product management, marketing and data analytics; the launch remains a public beta.
