White box does not automatically mean accurate, fair, or simple for every audience; a model may still use poor data or contain hundreds of difficult rules. Teams balance interpretability with predictive performance and present explanations in language suited to users, domain experts, and auditors. Documentation and validation remain necessary even when the calculation is visible.
