Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said users can expect new AI models and products from the company in the coming months, following the 2025 restructuring of its AI lab. While he did not provide exact timelines or product names, Zuckerberg highlighted AI-driven commerce as a key area of focus.

New agentic shopping tools aim to help users find products in Meta’s catalog by leveraging personal context, including history, interests, content, and relationships. Meta’s approach reflects broader industry trends in AI-powered shopping, with competitors such as Google and OpenAI already developing agent-enabled transaction platforms.

The company acquired Manus, a general-purpose agent developer, in December and plans to integrate its technology into Meta products while continuing to operate it independently. Meta also announced increased infrastructure spending, projecting $115 billion to $135 billion in capital expenditures for 2026 to support the Meta Superintelligence Labs and core business, up from $72 billion in 2025.

Zuckerberg emphasized that the upcoming AI releases will deliver “personal superintelligence,” enhance commerce, and expand Meta’s infrastructure, signaling a major push to integrate AI into the company’s products and business operations.
