Anthropic has unveiled Claude Mythos 5 and Claude Fable 5, two new AI models designed for different operational environments. While Fable 5 targets broader commercial and enterprise adoption, Mythos 5 is focused on cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, and national security applications. The launch marks Anthropic’s most significant expansion into specialized AI deployments to date.

Mythos 5 will initially be deployed through Project Glasswing, a collaboration with U.S. government partners, and will remain available only to a limited group of vetted organizations. Anthropic says the model is optimized for advanced security workflows and high-trust environments where reliability and resilience are critical requirements.

The company also disclosed pricing, with usage starting at $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens. Anthropic plans to gradually expand access to Mythos 5 through a verification-based program, while positioning Fable 5 as a safer and more broadly accessible model for enterprise customers.
