TRON DAO has joined the Agentic AI Foundation as a Gold Member and will take a seat on the group’s governing board. The initiative operates under the umbrella of the Linux Foundation and focuses on building open infrastructure for autonomous AI agents.
The foundation aims to develop standardized protocols and tools that allow AI agents to interact with digital platforms, collaborate with other agents, and execute real-world tasks. Industry participants are working to create interoperable systems that support the emerging ecosystem of agentic AI applications.
TRON said its role will focus on exploring how blockchain infrastructure can support machine-to-machine payments and settlements for autonomous software. The network processes large volumes of stablecoin transactions and positions its infrastructure as suitable for high-frequency microtransactions required by AI-driven services.
The move reflects growing convergence between artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies as companies experiment with decentralized platforms capable of supporting automated digital economies.
