Anthropic and Accenture have announced a major expansion of their multi-year AI partnership, aimed at helping enterprises move from experimental AI pilots to full-scale deployment. Central to the collaboration is the formation of the Accenture Anthropic Business Group, making Anthropic one of Accenture’s select strategic partners. The group will offer a dedicated practice around Anthropic’s Claude AI models and Claude Code tools, reflecting both companies’ long-term commitment to enterprise AI.
Approximately 30,000 Accenture professionals will receive Claude training, including forward-deployed engineers who embed AI within client environments to accelerate adoption. This effort creates one of the largest ecosystems of Claude practitioners in the world, combining Accenture’s AI, industry, and function expertise with Anthropic’s proven models and playbooks for regulated industries.
Claude Code at the Center of Enterprise Development
As part of the partnership, Anthropic and Accenture are launching a joint offering to help CIOs measure value and drive large-scale AI adoption across engineering organizations. Claude Code, which now holds over half of the AI coding market, will be embedded at the center of the enterprise software development lifecycle. This approach combines productivity measurement frameworks, AI-first workflow redesign, and ongoing change management and training, enabling enterprises to turn developer efficiency into measurable business impact.
Claude Code accelerates productivity across skill levels: junior developers can produce high-quality code and integrate it faster, while senior developers focus on architecture, validation, and strategic oversight. By leveraging this integration, companies can shorten development cycles, release new products faster, and increase overall engineering throughput.
Industry-Specific AI Solutions
The partnership also focuses on regulated industries, including financial services, healthcare, life sciences, and the public sector. In finance, Claude’s ability to process lengthy documents supports automated compliance and faster decision-making. In healthcare and life sciences, the models help researchers query datasets, generate experimental protocols, and streamline clinical trials. Public sector clients benefit from AI agents that guide citizens through complex services while ensuring compliance and privacy.
Commitment to Responsible AI and Innovation
The partnership emphasizes responsible AI through Anthropic’s constitutional AI principles and Accenture’s governance expertise. Accenture will integrate Claude into its Innovation Hubs, enabling clients to safely prototype and test AI solutions before enterprise-wide deployment. A co-invested Claude Center of Excellence will further support joint design of new AI offerings tailored to industry requirements and regulatory contexts.
This expanded collaboration positions Anthropic and Accenture to accelerate enterprise AI adoption, helping organizations move from pilot programs to fully operational AI systems while embedding Claude Code into everyday software development workflows. This aligns with Anthropic’s recent rollout of Claude Code in Slack, enabling developers to trigger coding sessions directly from chat threads, further integrating AI into daily collaboration.
