Tether, through its investment arm Tether Investments, has made a strategic investment in Eight Sleep at a $1.5 billion valuation. The partnership aims to expand AI-driven health technology focused on sleep, recovery, and personalized wellness insights.
Eight Sleep develops smart sleep systems equipped with embedded sensors and AI models that analyze physiological signals to optimize sleep conditions in real time. The collaboration will integrate Tether’s QVAC architecture to enhance device intelligence and enable more advanced on-device health analytics.
According to Paolo Ardoino, personalized AI systems capable of interpreting continuous health data could transform how individuals monitor long-term health and performance. Eight Sleep plans to build new AI capabilities on the QVAC framework to support adaptive, privacy-preserving health intelligence.
The investment follows Tether’s launch of QVAC Health, a platform designed to unify wellness data from wearables and other sources while processing AI insights locally on user devices, reflecting a broader push toward decentralized, privacy-focused health technology.
