SwitchBot has entered the AI voice recorder market with its new AI MindClip, a compact clip-on device designed to capture and organize daily conversations. Announced at CES, the MindClip converts recorded speech into summaries, actionable tasks, and a personal searchable audio memory.
Weighing 18 grams and supporting over 100 languages, the MindClip features a button-style recorder attached to a square clip, similar in design to Anker’s Soundcore Work. The device aims to function as a “second brain,” allowing users to retrieve and review prior discussions that might otherwise be forgotten.
AI-powered features, including summarization, task creation, and information recall, will be available through a subscription-based cloud service. SwitchBot has not disclosed pricing or a launch date for the device or the accompanying service. The MindClip joins a growing field of AI recorders, including offerings from Bee, Plaud’s NotePin, and Soundcore Work, highlighting increasing interest in AI-assisted personal productivity tools.
