Google has partnered with Reliance Industries to include its AI Pro subscription with Jio 5G plans at no extra cost, extending 18 months of free access to eligible users. The initiative gives Jio customers access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, image and video generation through Nano Banana and Veo 3.1, Notebook LM for research, and 2 TB of cloud storage. The offer, valued at ₹35,100 ($396), will first target users aged 18 to 25 before expanding nationwide.
The collaboration also extends to enterprise infrastructure, with Reliance Intelligence joining as a strategic partner to broaden access to Google Cloud’s TPUs and Gemini Enterprise. The move strengthens Google’s AI footprint in India and follows similar telecom partnerships from OpenAI and Perplexity.
