Meta announced the European rollout of Vibes, its AI-generated short-form video feed within the Meta AI app. The feature, launched in the United States six weeks ago, offers a continuous stream of videos produced entirely by AI. Users can create clips using text prompts or remix existing videos by adding visuals, music, and stylistic elements.
Meta said the feed will become more personalized over time based on user engagement. The company describes Vibes as a collaborative creation environment, where content can be shared directly in the feed or cross-posted to Instagram and Facebook. The expansion follows significant growth in media generation within the Meta AI app since launch.
The move comes amid broader industry efforts to adapt to a surge in AI-generated content. Other platforms, including YouTube, are focusing on labeling and reducing low-quality synthetic media. Meta previously emphasized “authentic storytelling” as a priority for creators but is now positioning Vibes as a new way for users to explore and interact with AI-driven content. The company continues to invest in consumer-facing AI products while integrating generative tools across its social platforms.
