CONTEXT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

How to read this landscape.

Our interpretation of the comparison.

01

Partnership is a broad word

A supply contract, an investment, and a completed acquisition create different relationships. The type column keeps them separate.

02

Watch for amended terms

Later agreements can replace earlier restrictions. Read the latest amendment alongside the original relationship.

03

Commitments run ahead of capacity

A multiyear gigawatt agreement is a future supply framework. It is not a measurement of compute operating today.

TRANSPARENT BY DESIGN

Scope & methodology

Selected publicly documented relationships, ordered by the evidence date shown. Evidence date means the cited announcement or amendment, not necessarily the beginning of the relationship. Descriptions preserve conditions such as “up to,” distinguish agreements from deployments, and use “acquisition closed” only where the cited company says the transaction completed. This is not a complete ownership or investment database.

Dates on continuously updated documentation are labeled “Current documentation” unless a specific publication date is available. This page is maintained manually; the review date is not a live-feed timestamp. Company announcements describe the company’s claims and plans, not an independent audit.

Anthropic ↔ Accenture1 source

Research relationship / Products & research

Anthropic ↔ Accenture

The partners announced embedded evaluation, with work led by Faculty, an Accenture business. The announcement describes a non-exclusive program whose access and implementation details are still being developed.

Mistral ↔ Mozilla1 source

Product relationship / Products & research

Mistral ↔ Mozilla

Mistral’s models power Mozilla’s Firefox Smart Window beta. This is a product partnership, not an ownership change between the two organizations.

SpaceX → Cursor1 source

Ownership relationship / Ownership

SpaceX → Cursor

Cursor’s August update says the acquisition by SpaceX has closed. That is a different milestone from the earlier announcement of an intended transaction.

AMD ↔ Anthropic1 source

Compute relationship / Compute & cloud

AMD ↔ Anthropic

The agreement covers up to 2 GW of AMD systems. The first 1 GW is expected in the first half of 2027, so the stated capacity is not represented as operating in September 2026.

SpaceX ↔ Anthropic1 source

Compute relationship / Compute & cloud

SpaceX ↔ Anthropic

Anthropic announced access to all Colossus 1 compute capacity and a within-one-month delivery expectation. This gives evidence of contracted access, not Anthropic ownership of the facility.

Microsoft ↔ OpenAI1 source

Cloud and commercial relationship / Compute & cloud

Microsoft ↔ OpenAI

The April amendment allows OpenAI to serve products across cloud providers while retaining Azure as its primary partner. Microsoft’s model and product IP license is non-exclusive through 2032.

Amazon ↔ Anthropic1 source

Compute relationship / Compute & cloud

Amazon ↔ Anthropic

Anthropic’s expanded Amazon agreement describes a long-term compute commitment with up to 5 GW. The capacity figure is a contractual expansion scope, not a current operating fleet measurement.

Google + Broadcom ↔ Anthropic1 source

Compute relationship / Compute & cloud

Google + Broadcom ↔ Anthropic

Anthropic describes a multi-gigawatt TPU expansion with Google and Broadcom beginning in 2027. It is one component of a multi-provider compute strategy.

Meta ↔ AMD1 source

Compute relationship / Compute & cloud

Meta ↔ AMD

The agreement targets up to 6 GW, with initial shipments scheduled for the second half of 2026. The cited announcement does not confirm that all scheduled capacity has been delivered.
