Splat allows users to select styles including anime, manga, cartoon, comic, or 3D movie for the coloring pages. The app offers both on-screen and printable versions, catering to parents who want quick digital options or home printing. Customization is streamlined with an initial setup that prompts users to select preferred categories, app icon, and coloring preferences.
Access to Splat is subscription-based, with a weekly plan at $4.99 for 25 pages or an annual plan at $49.99 for 500 pages. Parental controls block access to purchasing and settings for young children.
In early tests, Splat quickly converted photos to coloring pages, allowing users to move from idea to printed art efficiently. The app is part of a broader trend of AI-powered tools, such as Stickerbox and Casio’s Moflin robotic pet, designed to inspire creativity and imagination in children.
