Nscale has raised $2 billion in a Series C funding round that values the company at $14.6 billion. The round was led by Aker ASA and 8090 Industries, with participation from investors including Nvidia, Dell Technologies, Citadel, and Jane Street.
Founded in 2024, Nscale operates large-scale AI infrastructure, including proprietary data centers, GPU clusters, and software systems designed to deliver high-performance computing for artificial intelligence workloads. The company said the funding will support expansion of its data center capacity as demand for GPU-powered compute continues to rise.
Several prominent technology executives will join the company’s board, including former Nick Clegg, Sheryl Sandberg, and Susan Decker.
The funding comes as Nscale prepares for a potential initial public offering, with Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase reportedly hired as underwriters. The company’s infrastructure supports AI computing demand from customers including Microsoft and OpenAI.
