Google provided an update on the rollout of its Gemini for Home voice assistant, two weeks after launch. The company said it has been gathering extensive user feedback through community forums, in-app reports, and social media, as early adopters share positive impressions of the AI-powered upgrade to Google Assistant. Users praised Gemini’s improved conversational abilities, smart home integration, and overall responsiveness.
The company confirmed that Gemini for Home is currently rolling out to users in the United States, with international expansion planned for Q1 2026. Google clarified that activation occurs at the Home level, not by user account—meaning users with multiple homes in the Google Home app may see the upgrade enabled in one location before others.
Google also updated its FAQ to address top questions around access timing, multiple-home configurations, and voice understanding. The company encouraged users to continue submitting feedback by saying, “Hey Google, send feedback,” or through the Nest Community thread.
