AI startup 1mind, co-founded by Amanda Kahlow, has raised $30 million in a Series A round led by Battery Ventures, bringing its total funding to $40 million. The company’s AI-driven agent, Mindy, uses large language models from OpenAI and Google Gemini to automate inbound sales, assist in enterprise deal closures, and handle customer onboarding. Unlike many AI sales tools that focus on outbound communication, Mindy acts as a digital sales engineer, designed to interact with customers who are already showing intent.

Kahlow said the company employs deterministic AI to ensure that responses remain accurate and consistent with corporate materials, limiting hallucinations. Over 30 companies, including HubSpot, LinkedIn, and New Relic, currently use 1mind’s technology, with most contracts reaching six-figure annual values.

The company plans to expand its 44-person workforce as it develops more advanced agentic sales capabilities. Investors in the round include Primary Ventures, Wing Venture Capital, and Operator Collective, alongside several industry executives from Monday.com, Databricks, and ZoomInfo.
