Canva is expanding its AI capabilities by integrating Brand Kits directly into ChatGPT, enabling users to create fully branded visuals without manual adjustments. The update allows professionals to generate designs using their company’s fonts, colors, logos, and layouts directly from AI prompts, turning text-based instructions into client-ready visuals, social media posts, and professional materials.

This integration follows Canva’s recent deployment in Anthropic’s Claude and builds on its Canva Design Model, Canva AI copilot, and Canva MCP Server, which have collectively produced over 12 million designs across ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot. Canva acts as a visual design layer within these AI platforms, bridging the gap between brand guidelines and automated creative workflows.

Key features include brand-native creation, guided presentation building, and live design previews, all accessible within ChatGPT. Users can access these capabilities by linking their Canva accounts at canva.com/ai. According to Anwar Haneef, GM and Head of Ecosystem at Canva, the update represents a leap in AI productivity, allowing teams to produce polished, brand-consistent content faster while integrating seamlessly into everyday AI workflows.
