Google is expanding AI-powered learning in India by introducing full-length practice tests for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) within its Gemini chatbot. The exams draw from vetted content provided by Indian education firms PhysicsWallah and Careers360. Students receive immediate feedback, explanations for correct answers, and personalized study plans based on their performance.

The tools also integrate into AI Mode in Search, including the Canvas feature for building study guides and interactive quizzes from class notes. Google said its AI supports learning in multiple Indian languages, covering subjects from advanced physics to broader STEM topics.

In parallel, Google is partnering with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Chaudhary Charan Singh University, and Wadhwani AI to implement AI-assisted educational programs for students, teachers, and administrators. Initiatives include voice-based reading support, English learning coaches, and AI-enabled state university pilots. The company aims to scale these programs to 75 million students, 1.8 million educators, and one million early-career professionals by 2027. The launch follows Google’s recent introduction of free SAT practice tests in Gemini, demonstrating a broader push to provide AI-driven exam preparation tools globally.
