Google is introducing a series of upgrades to Google Finance designed to help users analyze markets with deeper automation and real-time intelligence. The redesigned platform, powered by Google’s Gemini models, now provides conversational financial search, technical charting, and instant news updates. The latest additions build on that foundation to offer more comprehensive research and global reach.

A key feature rolling out in the coming weeks is Deep Search, which allows users to ask detailed financial questions and receive responses backed by structured research and citations. When activated, Gemini executes hundreds of targeted searches and performs reasoning across multiple sources to generate a thorough answer in minutes. Users can view the research plan as the response develops and follow links to supporting materials.

Deep Search will include higher usage allowances for Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers. Users interested in early access can enable the feature through the Google Finance experiment in Labs.

These enhancements reflect Google’s broader strategy to apply large-scale generative AI to complex analytical tasks, allowing investors to move beyond traditional ticker lookups and manual research workflows.

New Insights From Prediction Markets and Earnings Data

Google Finance is also adding access to prediction markets through partnerships with Kalshi and Polymarket. Users can ask natural language questions—such as projections on GDP growth—and see probability-based market expectations along with historical changes. The feature aims to give retail users an additional lens into future event risk and sentiment.

To support investors during quarterly reporting periods, Google launched a comprehensive earnings experience. The interface includes an “Upcoming earnings” calendar, live audio streams of earnings calls, and real-time transcriptions. After calls conclude, users can revisit transcripts and review updated AI-generated insights summarizing analyst reactions, financial performance, and relevant news developments.

Google Finance also provides comparative tools for evaluating results against previous quarters and consensus estimates, while offering links to regulatory filings and company reports. These features are positioned to reduce the time required to track earnings volatility and fundamental changes at publicly traded companies.

First International Expansion Begins in India

Alongside the capability upgrades, Google announced the first international rollout of the revamped Google Finance. The platform is launching in India with support for both English and Hindi, bringing its AI-driven tools to one of the world’s fastest-growing investment markets. Core product updates—Deep Search, prediction market data, and enhanced earnings tools—will debut in the United States first, with broader geographic expansion planned.

Google says the new Google Finance is designed to make the financial world more accessible for users at any experience level. By combining real-time data with conversational AI and automated insights, the company is positioning its service as a research companion for both individual investors and professionals seeking faster market intelligence.
